Ever heard of “The Artists Way?” It is a book that encourages you to pull out that pen and paper and try writing.
About what, you may ask. It really doesn’t matter.
The process is pretty simple: as soon as you can in the morning grab a pen and paper and start writing for a total of three (3) pages. If nothing comes to mind, just write “I don’t know what to write” over and over again. The point is just to write without stopping.
After this becomes a habit, you might want to move up a level and start your writing out with a question and see what you end up with at the end of those three pages.
Here are some good ones to start with:
“What am I not aware of that I need to know about…?”
“Is there something that I am missing about/with…? If so, what is it?”
“What is my perspective on…?”
“What piece of the truth am I not connecting with…?”
“What kind of human do I want to be and become…?”
“What do I do now…?
