You just landed a really great guest for your podcast, start your interview and a really loud noise happens in your background as your guest is giving the best advice you have ever heard.
When you are recording a podcast, the unexpected will always happen. Maybe it is trash day or someone near you slam a door.
In post-production, you can easily edit out parts of your interview, but if you have separate audio for you and your guest you can do this like a pro.
Zoom has a special feature under “settings” and “recording” that allows you to create a separate audio file for each participant. This means that your audio will not be sandwiched together allowing you to make edits to your track or their track.
Say goodbye to those annoying sounds!
