What is the goal when we argue?
Even if you don’t know it, most people want to win.
But, the real goal should be to make the relationship better (in other words: solve the problem).
Jordan Peterson shares that if you come from a place of wanting to actually solve the problem, the first step is to admit that you might be wrong.
If you can listen to the other person and accept you might be wrong, you can move towards the real purpose: arriving at a mutually acceptable agreement.
